VIDHNYAN SANSKAR SHIBIR

Vidhnyan Bharti organises Vidhnyan Sanskar Shibir, an annual summer camp, to open the opportunities for the students to come closer to the science activities, analyse the things in very easy way using technology, indulge awareness among the students and explore different challenges other than their school activities. In this 8 days long shibir, prominent scientists, experts, doctors are invited by VIBHA to talk to the students. Students are given opportunity to perform experiments in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Botany, Zoology & Electronics. The experiments are setup in laboratories & students have to perform them on their own. Also included are stalls like blood bank were students tested their own blood group, life sciences stall where students observed leaves of different plants under the microscope, nutrition stall where they learned about balanced diet and other stalls. More than 1200 students from over 70 schools in Nagpur participate in this Science Shibir. Great enthusiasm is seen among the students, teachers and their parents. Students are given certificates and small gifts for their active participation.
